Art & Design at St Michael’s Primary School

We deliver a broad, balanced art and design curriculum based on the 2014 National Curriculum and the AccessArt framework. Our aim is to develop children’s creativity, technical skills, and appreciation of the visual arts. Pupils explore a range of materials, techniques, and artists, building knowledge and confidence to express themselves. We encourage observation, imagination, and critical thinking, helping every child find their own connection to art and design.
